Vladdy Tarasenko!



Metropolitan St. Louis has been praying to the hockey gods for a savior and their prayers have finally been answered. Tarasenko took the league by storm in 2012-2013 season after playing five years in Russia's professional hockey league (KHL), originally selected in the first round, 16th overall, in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by St. Louis. He is currently serving as an alternate captain for the  Blues and creating highlight reel after highlight reel. He is best known in the league for his wicked wrist shot but is not a one tool guys. Listed at 6 foot, 220 lbs., he has no problem going to the dirty areas or laying massive body checks.
The fans of the NHL fell in love with Tarasenko's play after the 2015-2016 year. He had a phenomenal season amounting to forty goals and seventy-four points in eighty games.
The fan's loved his play so much that they voted him to the cover of NHL 17. St. Louis will continue to be blessed with highlight reel goals for as long at #91 is wearing the blue note. With Tarasenko signed to an eight-year, $60 million contract the future looks very bright in St. Louis!
